Our favorite garden sprayer sprinkler combination

We’d like to tell you about the Radius Garden sprayer & sprinkler combination that we’ve been using in our garden since the summer of 2018. Not only is it the best hand-held sprayer we’ve ever used, it’s also the best garden sprinkler we’ve ever used

First, we want you to know that nobody is paying us to write this article or promote the sprinkler-sprayer. We have zero connection to the company who makes the Radius Garden sprinkler sprayer.

We’re simply sharing this info because — if you’re a gardener — we think you’ll love this spray nozzle-sprinkler combination as much as we do.

It will save you tons of time, aggravation, water, and money.

Sprinklers and sprayers: a gardener’s irrigation irritation

Over the years, we’ve used dozens of different hose sprayers. Inevitably, there’s something about them that’s not quite right – they don’t have enough pressure, the don’t have easy pressure adjustments, they don’t have enough settings, they break easily, etc.

The same is true with the sprinklers we’ve used over the years. They seem to require a PhD in physics to properly adjust or to make them water the exact garden spots (and garden radius) we want irrigated.

Sound familiar? Nope, you’re not alone.

Tyrant to the accidental irrigation rescue

Last summer, The Tyrant handed me a garden sprayer and told me to try it out. It was a freebie she’d chosen as part of a large business packaging order.

“Great, another crummy hose sprayer,” I said. “Just try it – it’s also a sprinkler and it has really good customer reviews,” she replied. My curiosity was piqued.

That evening when watering our potted citrus, I easily used the icons on the front of the new sprayer to find the perfect sprayer setting. I could also easily adjust the water pressure up or down with my thumb as I held the sprayer. Awesome!

A year later, and the sprayer still works as well as it did on Day 1 – no leaks or side sprays errantly squirting out, making a mess, and wasting water.

What’s better than the best garden sprayer? The best garden sprayer-sprinkler combo!

We live in South Carolina where scorching hot summers combined with long spells without rain mean we sometimes have to irrigate our garden beds. Granted, using no-till organic gardening methods with mulch drastically reduces our irrigation needs, but irrigation is still necessary from time to time.

The first time we ever used the sprinkler setting on our Radius Garden spray nozzle-sprinkler, I was in love. It’s design is absolutely genius.

For starters, you don’t have to turn off your water spigot, unscrew your garden sprayer, then screw on your sprinkler. They’re the same tool! This saves a lot of time.

Instead, you just flip open the side panels/handles, which then become the sprinkler’s base.

From there, you can choose between multiple sprinkler settings, plus turn up or down the pressure instantly with the thumb adjuster.

The sprinkler setting I like best is the half circle. This lets you put the sprinkler right beside a bed and only water the bed in front of the sprinkler, rather than anything behind it (like paths, grass lawn, or a driveway). No wasted water and good irrigation efficiency.

It only takes a few seconds to open the garden sprayer into its sprinkler setup. Here's our Radius Garden sprinkler-sprayer irrigating a bed in our side yard. It's set to the half circle setting so it only waters what's in front of the sprinkler, improving water efficiency.

For our large edible garden patches, I put the sprinkler on the full circle setting which irrigates 360 degrees (up to 870 square feet), but you can easily adjust it down for smaller spaces. The sprinkler provides a good gentle shower, not a pounding irrigation like a lot of overhead sprinklers.

The best garden sprinkler sprayer combo x 2

We liked our Radius Garden sprinkler-sprayer combo so much that we retired all of our old sprayers and sprinklers, which are now collecting dust in the garage. We also ordered a second one to attach to the drinking-water-safe garden hoses in our front yard and back yard.

Our Radius Garden sprinkler-sprayers have made irrigation so much easier and more efficient than it used to be. And that’s why we’re telling you about this fantastic product.

If you’re in the market for a new hose sprayer or sprinkler for your garden, the Radius Garden sprayer-sprinkler combo is the one you need to get!

Sounds like a winner to me! My watering system is a maze of hoses, splitters, sprayers, and what I like to call Button Sprinklers (small round sprinklers from Lowe’s that have just the right spread for certain sections of my garden), plus a few soaker hoses here and there. Inevitably each year a few of them break, and then I’m shuttling them from the end of one hose to another, until I finally leave the house & buy more. So I’m definitely in the market for trying something new, and this sounds like what I’m looking for! Thanks for sharing!

I hope you guys are enjoying summer!
